Mr. Aanestad has more than 23 years of experience with underground construction, directly overseeing placement of underground utilities, pipelines and conduit.
He has provided consulting services for major U.S. communities, including the Freedmen’s Town Brick Streets Project in Houston and Vista Canyon Ranch’s Sewer Siphon Project. He has provided Consultation and Expert Witness work for such firms as Heffernan & Boortz LLP, Wood Smith Henning & Berman LLP, Rutan & Tucker LLP, and Dowling /Aaron. Mr. Aanestad has been retained and worked on cases directly for such clients as VAST Networks and Southern California Edison.
Mr. Aanestad’s company was honored for its work on the Scripps Seawater Return Lines at the University of California, San Diego. The complex, $2.5 million project included nearly 4,500 feet of piping. Mr. Aanestad has extensive knowledge of construction-related equipment, from selecting and procuring to operating and maintaining heavy trucks and trailers, forklifts, cranes, skip loaders, backhoes, excavators, boring machines, horizontal directional drills, hydraulic moles and more. In addition, he has 10 years’ experience in the Full-Service Truck Leasing and Rental industry, overseeing transportation, logistics, leasing, rental, and maintenance activities.
